This class weaves together breathing techniques, gentle, mindful movement, and guided meditation in order to enliven your spirit and restore your body to its natural state of balance. We will focus on stretching, twisting, and moving the body in order to release tension and let go of stress. Each week we will explore a new theme. Participants are encouraged to listen to the wisdom of their own bodies throughout the practice. No prior experience is necessary.

Kundalini yoga is a powerful practice that opens your heart, builds strength in your nervous system, detoxifies your system, and balances the energy centers of the body. You can expect to learn and use powerful breathing techniques, purposeful movement, and mantra, and to relax with a vibrational gong healing in order to release mental and physical blocks. Some exercises may be challenging, however modifications will always be offered. Please join us for this one of a kind yogic experience.

There are times in our lives when our body doesn't move the way we would like it to. During those times we need to look for ways to help us in quieting the mind while gently stretching and strengthening the body. The practice is done mainly on chairs.

This class is for those who need to unwind late in the day. Come prepared to do gentle stretching as well as to challenge yourself to move a bit deeper into the poses. We will use props to give you support and extend your range of motion and we will focus on listening to the signals your body gives you as you stretch.
